I have to confess... I really am hooked on crafting!
I learned to sew on an old Singer...you know; the one with the foot pedal; that you actually pumped with your foot?
Why, yes...it was at my Grandma's house!I made my clothes for school, and after I got married; I made matching clothes for me and my daughter. It was so much fun!
Since I was now "mommy", I started experimenting with more ways to express my creative self...
I spent lots of time in craft and department stores...I began to experiment with fabric, paint, ceramics, and silk flowers...
I decorated, re-decorated...and decorated again!
It was official...I was a genuine craft-a-holic!
That was a few years back, but I'm still just as hooked on crafting as ever! But, times have changed, and now I love to teach crafting as much as I love to spend time crafting!
Once I discovered how to use my computer to create patterns and templates, I began to spend even more of my time designing my own patterns.
Oh...what fun!
As you can see; I really do love crafting!
My favorite crafts are those that I've designed to teach Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. The Bible is my favorite book, so I'll be sharing lots of ideas with you...
Room decor, lesson plans, costumes...
Whatever it takes to create a lively lesson plan that teaches the many wonderful stories found in God's Word!
